Today's Bullying Awareness and How We Can Prevent It
STOMP Out Bullying
Introduction
Bullying is one of the most serious issues that our society is now dealing with. It is a pattern of physical, social, or psychological behavior in which a person or group abuses their authority over another person or persons. It is not a new topic, but it is a well-known and common issue that is happening. Bullying can take many different forms and can have serious effects in a person's life. Though there are various degrees of bullying, each person is unique and responds to these situations in their own way. That is why it is critical for parents, guardians, and teachers to understand bullying so that they can initiate a conversation and recognize when a person requires assistance. In order to at least avoid or prevent it, we need to create awareness about this problem and how it might effect a person's life in order to further understand those who are suffering.
Purpose
Bullying has an impact on everyone, including those who are bullied, bullies, and those who witness bullying. Bullying has been connected to a variety of harmful outcomes, including mental health issues, substance abuse, and most of all suicide. That is why, the purpose of this project is to gain a better understanding and how to prevent bullying. It aims to open people's eyes to the problem and raise awareness about it. Having a greater understanding of bullying can assist you in identifying those who are in need of help, whether they are being bullied or the ones bullying others. You can avoid both short- and long-term harmful outcomes by taking action.
